Prefer candidate with a Bachelors Degree in Petroleum/Production Engineering

Work Location: Oil Company, Houston, Texas

Job Description:

Provides engineering support for routine daily and long term monitoring, process design and economic benefit analysis for process units. Support requires collaboration and interpersonal skills necessary to work with operations, maintenance and technical functions.

Key job responsibilities include answering technical inquiries, making technical recommendations, providing process troubleshooting, improving process engineering tools, and developing process procedures.

Effectively interface with Operators, Mechanics, Supervisors, and Management to complete projects and tasks on time and on budget to meets the business objectives.

Ability to seek out customer's needs and prioritize own work accordingly. Experience that covers the field of Operational, Production Optimization and Surveillance of surface facilities and wells.

Hands on and Management of in all Operational, Production Surveillance & Optimization covering Wells, Surface equipment & processing facilities; Superb facilitation skills;

Proven track record of self motivated production improvement methods initiator; Project management skills; Capability in managing interface between various stakeholders; Experience with well and production system modeling/analysis; Experience in technical writing. Works with the Project Leaders to develop Framework for Integrated Operations.
