End-stage lung cancer may have 3 months or less. You should go back to visit her as soon as you can. In USA she may choose hospice or palliative care. Not test or chemotherapy/radiation therapy can help her. She will need oxygen and pain medication such as oral liquid morphine. It is better to stay home than hospitalization.
