many miles your daughter is going to drive? If she does not drive a lot, there is no point in getting a hybrid one. Also, hydrid cars are more expensive to fix. Cost of batteries is another concern. I have 2 daughters at a college. They live a couple of miles away from school. So, how do I save if I get hybrid or electric ones. You have to look total costs of ownership over 3 or 4 years.
