请教tenant arrested and jailed situation

A guy moved into with his girlfriend (each with a school kid). Had a fight between them somehow. Neightbor told me man was arrested due to 1) domestic violence and 2) attempted strangulation about 10 days after it happned. $150k bail. I rushed to contact his emergent contacts in his rental application. He moved from one of my smaller houses. He paid rent like a clock in the last 2 years. Quite surpised. They just moved into at the end of Sept (rent starts from oct 1st per verbal agreement). I did not even have time to complete lease for the new rental. He did pay rent for Oct. Relatives do not think any one has that much money to bail him out. 

One relative would like to move his belongings. I looked up using ChatGPT. Need to have written authorization from tenant. 

One can not drop off the letter for signature. Can only be mailed to legal resource center of the jail. Women noved out already per neighbor. I am out of town. Had to pay gettingout.com 1/2$ to send one text to inmate. I had to deposit money to set up an account in order to do so. Not sure when I can hear back. I called jail twice to make sure this is legit website. It is and I did check using chatGPT. Money sucker website but I have no choice. $40-50 spent already. I set it up so this guy could call me once. For the 1st $20, the deposit is into his account but for some reason I could not use that money for me to text him. He has no access to his phone.

Question: His family member (sister and aunt) could not afford to bail him out. WIth charge this serious, does it look he will be stuck in jail for some time? Shall I not push hard on authorization letter? One kid needs to get his belongings. His sister did not hear back from him either.
