I'm 58 years old. Just used ASCVD to calculate the risk (using my test results before taking Satin). The risk factor was 3.8%. It looks like I don't need to take Statin. But I have been taking Statin for more than a year. Right now, the cholestral level is 180. Should I stop taking it? People say once you start taking Statin, you cannot stop. Thanks!
