I almost have same story as you. Applying LC since July, 2002 (i was regular). Last year (7/2006), I was told that my case was lost, BEC does not have my case at all. I was very frustrating at that time. Thanks god, both of us have green card now. hopefully our story can encourage others and keep their hope.
