Dear
I wrote the letters to ask for your help to expedite the name check process of my immigration petition. Thanks for your replies.
In the current circumstance, there is not much I can do except waiting and waiting. It is extremely frustrating. It also puts U.S. homeland security in a dramatically bad situation. As Senator Levin mentioned in the approved amendment: "Approximately 31,000 cases have been pending for at least 33 months. If these individuals are a security threat, we must know that sooner rather than later. ". Please see http://levin.senate.gov/newsroom/release.cfm?id=285400 .There are much more cases over two years. You might remember that the USCIS sent legal visa document to one of 911 terrorists after 911. I definitely support the FBI name check program. However, I really doubt how the current name check program works for the purpose to prevent terrorism, if a name check can not be finished in short time.
In addition, more and more petitioners have no choice but file the law suites against this kind of the government behaviors in recent years. It costs a lot of tax money and government resources, which could otherwise to improve the national security.
I believed only an efficient and quick response, not a delayed, name check system can benefit the national security by preventing from being attached by terrorist in future. A taking-years security check will not do anything good to the national security, but hurt the country, because it could be loophole being utilized by terrorists to finish some attaches in the long period of waiting time.
The bill, HR 3828, will solve those problems and reinforce the national security. Please support it. The link for HR 3828: http://frwebgate.access.gpo.gov/cgi-bin/getdoc.cgi?dbname=110_cong_bills&docid=f:h3828ih.t xt.pdf
