儿子绿卡申请，今天傍晚下班回家后收到了移民局要求打指纹的信件，appointment 是安排在今天下午3点，而收到信己是傍晚6点，所以错过了。

信中说如果缺席appointment, 就视为自动放弃绿卡申请。儿子有电话USCIS, 他们同意reschedule appointment. Reschedule要等多久？

-Hard to say, case by case. Your kid may just go to the USCIS Application Support Center  where the biometrics take place to do the biometrics even if he received the Appointment Notice after the due date (explain to the officer there).

我们还需要做其他事情吗？

-If he does not go to do the biometrics, check "Reschedule" on the Appointment Notice and mail it back to the USCIS Support Center and write a expanation with it.

信件是2月5号寄出的，路上经过了两个星期，这是邮局的问题，还是移民局的问题啊？
