尊敬的八老师，我爱人持B-2签证，来美三个月后，在9月21日 递交485，USPS 显示信件在9日25日已经到达USCIS 位于达拉斯市的信箱(follow to join），但是直到现在，我们还没有收到485 回执,询问Emma后，给了一个email 地址，发email询问，自动回复30个工作日以内答复。

-Normally it takes about 4 to 6 weeks for you to receive the I-485 Receipt Notice. So, it is stilll normal. You can check your bank to see whether the check for the filing fee was cleared/cashed. If yes, then you may find the Receipt Number (i.e., case#) on the back of the cleared check. If you want to contact USCIS, you can provide the Receipt#.

我爱人的Ｉ-94 入境卡显示有效停留美国是12月18号，等几天如果我们还没有收到回执，我们需要递交I-539 以延长有效停留期吗？

-No. Do nothing. Your spouse is legal to stay in US now even if the I-94 expires because the I-485 has been filed.

另外，入境时，海关给予的有效停留期限是12月2号，以哪一个为准？

-I-94, but it does not matter in your case (see above).
