Was the letter from USCIS or from National Visa Center (NVC)? If it was from NVC, you may reply to them that you have got your green card by filing I-485 adjustment of status within US, or just ignore it (i.e., do nothing). If it was from USCIS, then you may contact them to see what happened (e.g., what kind of fee, etc.).
