General Symptoms of an Eggnog Allergy

Mild to Moderate Symptoms

• Itching or tingling of the mouth or lips

• Hives or skin rash

• Redness or swelling (face, lips, or eyes)

• Stomach pain or cramps

• Nausea or vomiting

• Diarrhea

• Nasal congestion or sneezing

• Coughing or throat irritation

Severe Symptoms (Possible Anaphylaxis)

These require emergency care:

• Difficulty breathing or wheezing

• Swelling of the throat or tongue

• Rapid heartbeat

• Drop in blood pressure (feeling faint or passing out)

• Severe vomiting or diarrhea

• Feeling of impending doom
