因为屋顶是平的，所以要架起来才能保证不漏雨，他们公司不会做，要找别的公司来做，但要我们自己出＄800给那公司。

Actually $800 is not a big deal, but if it is not our responsibility, I would not like to give 1 cent to them.

I called my house closing lawyer one time, and he told me that he can sue them to the court but I have to pay for the fee. $200 for the first lawyer fee, it includes I tell him what happened, he will write the letter, signed it, and sended it to the roof contractor. But the lawyer told me if the first letter works, the roof contractor will come and fix the roof for us. If the roof contractor still does not want to do that, I have to pay for the lawyer the second time fee, we will go to the court. and at last the lawyer told me that I can do that by myself, and go to the small court.
