A Drey松鼠窝

In gale, it sways

             high in sky, squirrels never faint

 

A drey would not fail

             nor break, nor fall

 

Squirrels constructed it with leaves, pine needles,

             and furs from their tail

 

They are the best arborists, always know

             where to dwell, the fittest tree joint of all

 

When a wandering cayote trembles

             a drey of squirrels huddle

 

它在风中摇晃

高空中，松鼠不慌不忙

 

松鼠窝牢不可摧

不会解体，或从树上落飞

 

松鼠们精心营造

用树叶儿、松针，还有它们尾巴上的毛

 

它们是最佳树艺家

精通何处安身——所有树中最合适的树杈

 

寒风中，一只迷途的郊狼在颤抖

一窝松鼠相互依偎——眠休
