APAD: Deck the halls

"Deck the halls" means to decorate a home for the Christmas season, especially with festive greenery like holly, and refers to the act of adorning a house or large room. The word "deck" in this context comes from the old meaning of "to cover" or "to adorn," not to physically hit or punch.  The phrase comes from the traditional Christmas carol of the same name.

The time is approaching, again.

Last year this time, I wrote a post to plead for world peace. Not sure if we are closer or further away from that goal ...

Anyways, below is my reading of a simple poem which uses the idiom, as my Xmas gift to all of you. Hopefully it will bring some calmness and relaxation (I was told that my voice is good at putting people to sleep ).
