APAD: One for all and all for one

"One for all and all for one" means a commitment to total unity and mutual support, where every individual works for the benefit of the group, and the group supports and protects each individual in times of need or danger. It symbolizes unwavering loyalty, shared responsibility and efforts that lead to team success.

Origin:
In 1594, Shakespeare uses the phrase in his poem The Rape of Lucrece:

The aim of all is but to nurse the life
With honour, wealth, and ease, in waning age;
And in this aim there is such thwarting strife,
That one for all, or all for one we gage;
As life for honour in fell battle's rage;
Honour for wealth; and oft that wealth doth cost
The death of all, and all together lost.

A French version, "Un pour tous, tous pour un", was made famous by Alexandre Dumas in his 1844 novel The Three Musketeers. In the novel, it was the motto of a group of French musketeers who stayed loyal to each other through thick and thin.  As stated by Dumas in the book: "All for one and one for all, united we stand, divided we fall."

"Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno" [OO-noos pro OM-nih-boos, OM-nays pro OO-no] is a Latin phrase of One for all, all for one.

Actually the phrase "united we stand, divided we fall" has been used in APAD three times. Together with today's, the APAD representing team spirit has appeared at least four times, tied with "Honesty is the best policy" for the 1st place in APAD history!

MYSJ is a small forum comparing to some other forums in WXC. I was welcomed with open arms and found a "home" here. In return, I have been holding my arms open to welcome newcomers.  

We are here to learn, to have fun, "To thine own self be true" as said by the Bard of Avon;  We are here to support and help each other, because we care, because "this is the way!" (as said by Din Djarin in "The Mandalorian" in Star War, might be worth of a future APAD ).
