Drive to KW-slow down & smell the roses

-skip Sea world if I were you since you've been two of them
-Need more time to drive to Key West. Do not recommend driving to Key West in the darkness. South of Miami to KW, US 1 is quite scenic along the way, with Atlantic Ocean on one side and Caribean on the other. Many places you should stop too. Should try to get to KW before sunset and watch sunset at Mallory Square.
-Beaches in KW are OK. Clearwater beach is not really white sandy - it's OK. Bahia Honda State Park 37 miles outside of Key West was voted the top US beach in 92.
I'd watch sunset at Mallory Square in Key West if I have to choose btn KW and Clearwater sunset.
-Love Key West: old town KW is very unique.
