Need advice for a road trip from Colorado to New Mexico& Texas

Below is my road trip plan for a tour from Denver to New Mexico and Texas. Any advice is highly appreciated. I would like to know if the length of tour in each city is reasonable, and what are the must-sees for each city, and also if the driving plan is too aggressive for me to have enough rest.

I am planning to leave either on 4/1 (Saturday) or 4/8 (Saturday) from Denver. Will drive by myself.
Day 1:
Denver to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Distance: 392.66 miles. Duration: 5 hours 47 mins.
Arrive in Santa Fe before 2:00pm, tour in Santa Fe, stay in Santa Fe at night.
Day 2:
Santa Fe to Albuquerque, New Mexico. Distance: 63.36 miles. Duration: 1 hour.
Arrive in Albuquerque before noon, tour in Albuquerque, stay in Albuquerque at night.
Day 3:
Albuquerque to Austin, Texas. Distance: 842.75miles . Duration: 12 hours 25 mins
Basically will drive all day, and stop for possible sceneries, stay in Austin at night.
Day 4:
Austin to McAllen, Texas. Distance: 358.56miles . Duration: 5 hours 39 mins
Will see the wild flowers around Austin, leave 2:00 pm for McAllen to visit a friend, stay in McAllen at night.
Day 5:
McAllen to San Antonio, Texas. Distance: 284.86 miles. Duration: 4 hours 32 mins.
Tour in Mcallen, beach, Gulf of Mexico, leave 3:00 pm for San Antonio, stay at San Antonio.
Day 6:
Tour in San Antonio. What are the must-sees there?
Day 7:
San Antonio to Houston, Texas. Distance: 196.63 miles. Duration: 3 hours.
Tour in San Antonio, and leave at 2:00 pm for Houston, stay in Houston.
Day 8:
Houston to Dallas, Texas. Distance: 239.43 miles. Duration: 3 hours 40 mins.
Tour in Houston, and leave at 3:00 pm for Dallas, stay in Dallas.
Day 9:
Dallas to Denver. Distance: 879.94 miles. Duration: 13 hours.
Basically will drive all day.
