Lake Como could be rainy in Mar/Apr so keep that in mind.

This Spring after spending 9 days in Veneto region (5 days in Venice the rest in towns on way to Milan), my plan was on my one night Milan stay (fly to Muscat on Air Oman the next evening 8pm) was marked for a day trip to Lake Como.  Very much like this place but previous visits were all in very late Spring / early Summer.

Weather in Milan was drizzling but forecast in Lake Como was Thunderstorms.  I was told Spring weather in Lake District was often quite rainy with frequent thunderstorm.

At the end I scrapped the plan and just lazyed in Milan hotel until 2pm check out then headed to the airport and spent the preflight time in airport lounge instead.
