This pops in my mind: “Twenty dwarves took turns doing handstands on the carpet” is a speech drill that was used by the real-life mobster Bugsy Siegel. The phrase was a part of a series of linguistic exercises that Siegel would repeat to improve his articulateness. The phrase is featured in the 1991 movie Bugsy, starring Warren Beatty as Siegel:
