【学个习语】step on somebody's toes

今天听一个老美同事说了一个习语：step on somebody's toes 和大家分享。

就是别人本应负责的事情，我们最好不要介入（Do not step on his toes。）

step on somebody's toes:to say or do something which upsets someone, especially by becoming involved in something which is their responsibility 

eg. I'd like to make some changes to the working procedures, but I don't want to step on anyone's toes.
