I wasn't thinking writing about Friends as an evaluation for English learning material. The topic I had in mind was to write something about the sitcom as a review. I came up with this topic when I saw this very well-written one for the Office:

Adapted from a British sitcom of the same name, this Emmy-winning series chronicles the daily foibles of a group of wage slaves shepherded about by boss Michael Scott (Steve Carell) as a documentary film crew captures every wince-worthy moment. Many of the laughs stem from Michael laboring under the delusion that he's God's gift to the company ... although his co-workers (played by John Krasinski, Jenna Fischer and Rainn Wilson) beg to differ.
