The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag: “I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all.”
"The Question": Why is there something rather than nothing?
- 科学和工程解决了 how 的问题 (eg, “how does things work? how to make it work?“) 有时候我们问why, eg,“ why does apple fall to ground? why earth goes around sun?“ 实质还是 "how" 。
- 宗教解释精神世界中 what and why 的问题 (eg, “what is my purpuse? why do people die?“ )
