刚结束公司年度的员工Code of Conduct。分享一下受保护的categories:

Race, Color, Ancestry, Citizenship, National Origin, Religion, Creed, Veteran Status, Disability, Medical Condition, Genetic Characteristic, Age, Sex, Gender, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identify, Marital Status, Family Status, Prefnancy, Legally Protected Status.

对这些雷区我持敬而远之的态度。尤其在面试新员工时,千万不要询问与这些有关的话题。平时工作中,也要注意,不要犯规。

言语上犯规:

  • Nagative comments about religious beliefs
  • Racist slang, phrases or nicknames
  • Remarks about skin color or other ethnic traits
  • Offensive reference to mental or physical disability
  • Derogator age-related comments

行为上犯规:

  • Unnecessary or unwelcome touching
  • Violations of the law
  • Offensive gestures

非语言犯规:

  • Offensive clothing
  • Racist drawings or posters
  • Hanging a noose

电信犯规:

  • Offensive E-mail
  • Offensive instant messages, texts
  • Offensive software of other electronic files
  • Inappropriate gestures
  • Internet, fax, and other electronic media
  • Riduculing participants on a zoom or teams call
  • Defacing a team members profile picture
  • Muting a participant

公司对管理人员有额外的要求:

  • Manager must promote a culture of ethics and compliance.
  • Never encourage employees to achieve business results at the expense of ethical conduct
  • Never ignore complaints or reports of misconduct
  • Never retaliate or ignore acts of retaliation against others
