感恩节本来是去旧金山看前不久刚通车的BayBridge，图的是路上人少。到了bridge前的第一个出口下来，本想在这著名的TreasureIsland外加海军基地照新的海湾大桥，怎奈正好背光，下午应该不错。于是只好改道去Sausalito,途径鱼人码头转了转以后就穿过金门大桥，直插Sausalito中心。今天跟桥干上了，可惜都是在车上照的。

生活中的点点滴滴就像早晨的落花一样新鲜美丽，但很快就会枯萎消失。只有拾起来并风干保存它们才能留芳久远。

早晨起来照例出去hiking。几天前刚下了一天雨，错过了一周两次hiking的第一次，这次一定要保证。停车场比往常的车少多了，不知道是快过节了，大家都在忙别的，还是因为天气渐冷，改做室内运动了？

女儿去东部上大学已经三个月了。我已经开始掰着手指头计算着她回来的日子。机票早已经订好，后院摘的鸭梨也早就躺在冰箱里等着她回来吃。可惜我们东西两岸遥遥相望，感恩节是没指望见面了。女儿最早也要在圣诞节前几天才能回来。

离开英国以后我会常常想起在那里生活过的点点滴滴，每当在电视上看到介绍英国的节目，尤其是英国风光的时候我也会比周围的人多一份兴趣。我甚至喜欢那里的阴天，那里的安静，那里人生活的简朴，虽然有很多中国人认为他们其实挺穷的。这么多年过去了我才慢慢理解了自己为什么会这么喜欢和怀念英国。

学校离伦敦远了点，所以一共没去几次。刚到英国的时候急于去学校报到，没工夫玩儿。后来去看望一个从帝国理工学院毕业的大学同学和他太太，在伦敦呆了几天，看了一些地方。再后来又和朋友特地去玩了一次，看了更多的地方。最后就是去美国使馆办签证和离开英国了。旅游的故事没有什么特别的，看别人写的肯定更有意思，我就不浪费时间了。
