If a 700-year-old fault line were a reason for separation, young nation states such as USA, Canada, and Australia would not remain being what we know today.

If practising a peaceful religion were so prevailing and humanity so imperative, violently fighting and depriving others of their property, livelihood and even lives would sound hypocritical.

If 5 decades ago, the Chinese regime had such a foresight to predicte that in 2007 Tibet could become a mining paradise, hence had kept on investing for half a century, it would have easily predicted and circumvented the current Tibetan turmoil before the year of its very first Olympics. 

Without betting on Tibet, we as a nation didn’t seem to mind giving 50 years worth of financial and human resources to Tibet, one of our very own provinces.
