游玩 Empire State Plaza，免费对公众开放的：
1. capitol building，这个是最值得看的。最好参加有人导游的， 否则你进去都不知道哪是哪。 网址：https://empirestateplaza.ny.gov/tours/new-york-state-capitol 
2. Corning Tower，Plaza最高的building。有专门电梯直奔42楼观光层，俯瞰Albany。
3. State museum，常年免费开放，任何时候去都行。
4. Education building. 教育部的大楼，在capitol边上有罗马柱的那栋楼，可以预约参观。 网址：https://empirestateplaza.ny.gov/tours/new-york-state-education-building 
5. cathedral church building，在museum隔壁，据说非常漂亮。
第一和第四都要按指定的时间到指定的地点集合，有人带着讲解。要经过安检，记得带上身份证。

Stroll Saratoga Broadway, local colleges campus and if you can head into free museums。
还有附近一些古老的家族庄园。 Google search “plantations near Albany”，确认开放时间，有的冬天不开放。
