火岛之行

过去的五年里每年夏天都会去火岛(FIRE　ＩＳＬＡＮＤ）住个周末．今年到九月底才去租房,幸好天公做美,几个大晴天.　

火岛在长岛外缘，也就是在长岛和大西洋之间，岛细长，分好几个镇．资料如下　（摘自fireisland.com)．
 
Fire Island, New York, is a barrier island, approximately 30 mi (48 km) long and 0.5 mi. (1 km) wide, in Suffolk County on the southern side of Long Island. Approximately 820,865 people visit Fire Island beaches each summer.



年轻人常去的镇是Ocean Bay Park and Seaview．  Cherry Grove and the Pines 是Gay 集中的地方，一般人不太去，但那两的镇的小店和餐馆比较有情调些．
