I used to sit across the cubicle wall from a manly (big/tall/rough/potty mouth) Beijing guy (he is a nice guy with a strong Beijing accent :).

One day, he caught a cold with lots of sneezes, and he is getting increasingly upset:

“Aaar Chouu! … Craaaarp !” he swore loudly (think of crap in Beijing accent :) …

“Aaaaar Chouu! … Shirt !!” (think of shit in Beijing accent and it sounded so clean to all our non-Chinese colleagues :) …

“Aaaaaaar Chouu! … 房客 !!!” (I fell apart laughing :) …


(and "房客" never sounded the same to me after that :) …
