奥斯陆Downtown的圣诞节期间


Drift Away,一首1972年的老歌. 以后多次被翻唱.

第一次听到这首歌是在挪威奥斯陆附近的郁金香酒店.那时候圣诞节将至,旅馆里在一个周六的晚上请来一个流行乐队在大堂里演出,这首歌被反复地演奏了很多次.它的旋律给我留下了深深的印象.

在那段每天乌云压顶日子里,太阳即使露一面也是斜斜的挂在天边.外面始终覆盖着积雪.小镇上每一条路边都是腊烛或者火把装饰,在夜幕降临的时候点燃.人们到酒馆饭馆里聚会,在商店里购物.圣诞节对于这里的人们好象特别有意义.因为室外寒冷,我和同事并不经常出去吃饭,酒店就是家了.

这首歌曲很适合几个人的乐队演出.坐在一楼的房间里就能看到现场,歌手们很有热情,技艺高超.可惜我不记得乐队的名字了.

若干年后听到Uncle Kracker的翻唱,觉得非常喜欢.
