冰也寒，

雪也寒。

少小离家千万言，

儿郎有暖衫。

Then the ice was quite chilling,

And the snow was freezing.

I remember Mom's words as I was told,

And a warm coat given to hold.

风一天，

雨一天，

冬去春来又一年，

梦中忆母颜。

After the days when the wind blew,

And the days the rain flew,

Now spring has come with bright rays；
