我原先以为Drill Press 应该翻译为压钻，后来发现国内一般叫做钻床。
Drill Press和普通手持电钻的最主要的差别就是可以钻出非常垂直或特定角度、特定深度的孔，而且功率大，结合辅助jig，可以重复准确的钻出需要孔，是精细木工不可缺少的工具。经过改装，还可以改成打磨机、临时车床（lathe）等。
我的Drill Press是General 的品牌，型号为75-150M1。配有各种速度调节，激光对准，灯泡照明，台面角度调节等功能。我还给它配了一个台面 Drill press table，可以精确控制加工件的质量，同时还做了一个可移动底座。

PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The 75-150 M1 features a precision machined spindle supported by high quality bearings for minimal rubout, and is designed for hobbyists and light to medium duty industrial applications. Equipped with an industrial duty 1/2 HP 110-Volt 8-Amp motor, the 75-150 M1 offers 12 speed options from 280 to 3000 RPM and is supported by a sturdy steel column and a large cast-iron base. The 75-150 M1 offers a maximum spindle travel of 3-1/8 in. and has a maximum distance from spindle to table of 30-3/4 in., and from spindle to base of 48 in. The cast-iron table is 11-3/4 in. round and is slotted to facilitate attaching vises, clamps or jigs for a multitude of repeat or specialty operations. harbor以前卖general的东西很多，说明书同样的简陋。general的东西在OSH也有，似乎是台商。ryobi有人说是香港的，一些东西ridgid在卖，偶尔有两件好的，差的也不少。现在价中物美的东西很难找。
Dewalt和B&D（低档）是一家德国的，但在亚太有开发中心，我知质量10年前出过一些问题。
看楼主对general评价还不错。以前我是不敢买的。

general与harbor是否同一家呢？
叫力铣肯定是错误的。中文对加工方式的定义是满严格的。
