            【The Rose】

Let’s not water it

let’s put it under the shade, and 

watch wild weeds climbing over her delicacy 

soon, we would be all free, from her

sad eyes

After all

it was a rose, planted by

two pairs of hands, and 

needed to be tended 

by two hearts

Until today, she still makes me smile 

when I think of her 

her grace in cold wind, her smell 

and most of all, I was not the one 

who decided to quit
