Don’t put all of your eggs in one basket! Apple has learned this ancient wisdom the hard way. Before Xi came to power, China was a low risk country for global companies. Now its geopolitical, military, labor and other risks all go thru the roof. Xi’s strict COVID policies not only pitted himself against the Chinese people, they also convinced foreign companies operating in China that they must pull out or reduce their China exposure. We will see mass exodus going forward.
