Before 2002 - The back was engraved to put in your time.

2002-2011 it said Patriots Day. After some iteration of B.A.A.

2007- Color was introduced to the medal.

2008- The medal got larger and the ribbon turned from blue/orange-yellow to a more solid blue/yellow

2010-2011- a green hue added to the blue and yellow ribbon.

2013 - An even larger medal

2016-2023 - The middle of the medal was hallowed out instead of one solid medal

2017- the top of the medal that says Boston Athletic Association turns from yellow to blue.

2021 - Largest medal

2023- Unicorn turns from blue to yellow.

2024 - blue medal border turns white. Goes from hallowed out back to solid, Bank of America on the medal
