You are under arrest for ---. You do not have to say anything but it may harm your defense if you do not mention when questioned something which you may later rely on in court. Anything you do say may be given in evidence. Do you understand?
段落二,法医的对话:
"Petechial hemorrhaging inside the eyelids indicates death was by asphyxiation."
"How about the blow to the head?"
"Overkill. He hit her so hard a piece of the plastic bag lodged in the woud."
"Our guy's pissed."
"He raped her?"
"Negative, as were the drug tests."
"Oh...and here's something we don't see every day. Perfect teeth, from expensive orthodontia. Not many clean hookers out there. Stomach contents include soybeans, vegetables, whole grains. A health-conscious hooker."
"How '90s."
段落三,专家证人作证:
"...but the good doctor, dianosing her with hysteria, recommended an alternative treatment to chemical dependency."
"And what was that treatment?"
"Ms. Weber was told to disrobe, put her feet up in stirrups, and try to picture David Hasselhoff of 'Baywatch.'"
"Objection. Your hornor. This witness is not qualified to testify on the treatment for hysteria."
"Actually, I am. Up until 1952, hysteria was one of the most commonly diagnosed illnesses among women. The medical treatment was hysterical paroxysm."
"Could the witness spell that?"
"O-r-g-a-s-m."
"Oh..."
"Would it surprise you to learn the onus fell upon physicians to bring about thee relief of these ladies' symptoms?"
"In fact, I believe the manual version of this treatment dates back to Hippocrates and was attested right up to the middle ages, up until the 1890s, when the vibrator was invented to speed things along."
