在介绍美国政府档案时，曾提到拥有15个宗卷的《美国军情局有关中国报告：1911－1941年》（U.S.MilitaryIntelligenceReports:China,1911-1941.15reels）这套档案。实际上，自其1983年出品以来，就引起各方广泛关注，因为其史料价值，对于研究民国时期的历史帮助很大。许多人在做某一课题研究时，总是想办法引用这套资料，以此支持其论点。
