不要与会读书的女人争论

 A couple went on vacation to a fishing resort up north. The husband liked
 to fish at the crack of dawn. The wife liked to read.
 
 One morning the husband returned after several hours of fishing and
 decided to take a short nap. Although she wasn't familiar with the lake,
the wife decided to take the boat.
 
 She rowed out a short distance, anchored, and returned to reading her
 book. Along came the sheriff in his boat. He pulled up alongside her and
said,

 "Good morning, Ma'am. What are you doing?"
  "Reading my book," she replied...as she thought to herself, "Isn't it obvious?"
 "You're in a restricted fishing area," he informed her.
 "But officer, I'm not fishing. Can't you see that?"
 "Yes, but you have all the equipment. I'll have to take you in and write
you up."
 "If you do that, I'll have to charge you with rape," snapped the irate
woman.
 "But, I haven't even touched you," groused the sheriff.
 "Yes, that's true," she replied, "But you do have all the equipment."
 
 MORAL: Never argue with a woman who knows how to read.

         一对夫妻到北方的钓鱼胜地去度假，丈夫喜欢在黎明时钓鱼，而妻子喜欢读书。 

        一天早晨，当丈夫钓了几个小时的鱼后回来，他决定小睡一下；而妻子对这一带湖
水不太了解，她就决定划著小船游一游。

         她划了一小段路程，就抛锚停了下来，继续读她的书。

         一个当地的行政执法官乘船走了过来，他来到她的旁边，向她打招呼：

“您好！太太，您在做什么？”
“读书。”她回答说，心里想：“难道他看不见吗？”
“您在禁止钓鱼的区域内。”他提醒她。
“但是，先生，您难道没有看见吗？我没有钓鱼。”
“是的。 但您有所有的设备，我必须带您走并罚您的款。”
“假如您那样做到话，我要告您抢劫。”这位女士愤怒的反击。
“但我连碰您一下也没有。”执法官抱怨说。
“那是真的，但您有所有的设备。”女人回答。
        
          寓意：决不要与会读书的女人争论。
