The Dow closed at 10974 today, as the stock market rallied after a worse than expected jobs Report on Friday. Thanks to good economic news, and good news on pending home sales and on the relative health of the non manufacturing economy, Stock finished higher.

And techs had a big day after AAPL said it sold more than 300,000 iPads over the weekend.

Energy stocks led the market.Crude oil rose $1.75 to $86.62 per barrel on the New York Mercantile Exchange.
