第一天上班, 昨晚只睡了3个小时, 我现在都几乎神智恍惚.
早晨迟到15分钟, 不明白为什么一定要定在9点, 9点是这个车站最繁忙的时候, 无数人朝着不同的方向走, 我被挤得差一点儿出不来. 到办公室, Jeff and Amir already there, 我们随便聊了一会儿, 等Ben来. Ben是system developer, lives in hawaii, he will be here for a few months to help everything getting started. Ben原本是另一家公司的founder, 他的公司被一家大的日本公司merged, Ben拿了一笔钱, 和家人在HAWAII享受半退休的生活. 听Jeff and Amir的意思, Ben好象是个"怪胎"级的人物, 我很好奇. 10点半, 迟到了半个小时, Ben终于来了, 风尘仆仆的拉着一个巨大的行李箱, 穿着打扮好象街边弹唱的流浪艺术家, 他摘下帽子, 满头弹簧般的卷发, 怎么也看不出他是个system developer, 真的是人不可貌相. Well, I think Ben is a nice guy, he has been very patient on explaining everything of the system to me. However, I like Amir more. Amir is the kind of guy who is very smart, but not aggressive at all, its very comfortable to talk with him. He has kinda mysterious power which could make people calm down, 从Amir身上感觉不到一丝敌意或危险, 我很难想象他生气的时候会是什么样子. Amir is such a lovely guy, and he is married, with 2 boys, 1 is 2 years old, the other is 2 months old. When waiting for Ben, he told me about how he makes breakfast for his 2-year-old son, and I told him that I cant stand babies at all... LOL! Why all lovely guys already married and not being available at all??? This is a quite frustrating question.
Getting back to the real life, everything seems to be good now. I dont know what is waiting for me ahead, could be dangerous, could be fun.
