火噬冰吞两尾端。

情欲燃时常品味，

愿随人葬血红天。

假如世界双轮毁，

我亦深知仇恨源：

爱憎均有崇高美，

冻劫不输威焰燔。

Some say the world will end in fire,

Some say in ice.

From what I’ve tasted of desire

I hold with those who favor fire.

But if it had to perish twice,

I think I know enough of hate

To say that for destruction ice

Is also great
