谢谢天方叶的点评。我昨天才知道龙应台的名字的由来，有趣。父亲姓龙，母亲姓应，出生在台湾，所以叫龙应台。”

我喜欢龙应台撰写的《目送》，那份真挚的父女情流淌在她的笔下。我尤其喜欢文章的结尾：“我慢慢地、慢慢地了解到，所谓父女母子一场，只不过意味着，你和他的缘分就是今生今世不断地在目送他的背影渐行渐远。你站立在小路的这一端，看着他逐渐消失在小路转弯的地方，而且，他用背影默默告诉你：不必追。”

Ralph Waldo Emerson was an American essayist, lecturer, and poet, who led the Transcendentalist movement of the mid-19th century. His well-known essays were Self-Reliance, The Over-Soul, Circles, The Poet and Experience. Emerson developed certain ideas such as individuality, freedom, the ability for man to realize almost anything, and the relationship between the soul and the surrounding world. Emerson's "nature" was more philosophical than naturalistic; "Philosophically considered, the universe is composed of Nature and the Soul."
