睡眠不足五小时,那是大大不行的

美国疾病预防中心最新数据报道,在经常睡眠不足五小时的人当中,患肥胖症的概率要高42%(obese),患糖尿病的概率要高40%,患高血压的概率要高69%,患高胆固醇血症的概率要高36%,患中风的概率要高62%,心脏病发作(heart attack)的概率要高152%. 这是近期JAMA(12/21/2011,V306, 33, P2616)上的报道。

另据报道,在被调查的4957名北美警察中(97% 美国警察,3%加拿大警察),高达40.4% (2003)的警察至少患有一种睡眠障碍。警察因睡眠不佳而导致的公务失误,值得注意(JAMA 12/21/2011, V306, 23, P2570, 2575)

我一个数据我没懂,152%,这是啥子意思呢?

health and increase mortality risk. Recent Centers for
Disease Control and Prevention8 data show that after adjusting for age, sex, race, socioeconomics, and overall health,individuals who obtained fewer than 5 hours of sleep on a regular basis (vs 7 hours) were 42% more likely to be obese,40% more likely to have diabetes, 69% more likely to have hypertension, 36% more likely to have high cholesterol, 62% more likely to have had a stroke, and 152% more likely to have experienced a heart attack.

与正常睡眠七小时的人相比,经常睡眠不足五小时的人患肥胖症(obese)的概率要高42%(即高0.42倍),。。。与正常睡眠七小时的人相比,经常睡眠不足五小时的人心脏病发作(heart attack)的概率要高152%(即高1.52倍)。

举例来说:如果正常睡眠七小时的人心脏病发作的概率是10%,则经常睡眠不足五小时的人心脏病发作的概率是 10%+10%x152%=25.2%
